Sew 4 Service Day
Join us while we Sew 4 Service. Come for any part of the day and help us sew handmade items for local charities. Bring your own sewing machine and supplies, and a lunch and beverage. We will provide the charity kits and help teach you how to make market bags, pillowcases or other handmade items that are currently needed.
Crocheting and Knitting Club Outreach
Join our group of crocheting and knitting enthusiasts. We visit nursing homes and libraries to lead crocheting and knitting clubs. You don't need to be an expert to help someone learn or to encourage them to express their creativity. Contact us for more information.
Community Crocheting and Weaving Projects
During the EUCFlea and other Community Events, we provide a Community Crochet or Weaving Art Project. Participants Crochet a Row or on the Community Blanket or Weave a Row on the Community Art Project. Over time the projects will be completed with everyone contributing a little bit.

Sew 4 Service Groups
Join this group at Mentor Plains United Methodist Church to Sew 4 Service. They meet on the 4th Friday and Saturday from 10:30am - 12 noon.

If you have a group that would like to make handmade items at your church or meeting place, Contact Us to find out how you can form a Sew 4 Service Group near you.
Sewing and Crocheting Open Studio
Community Members are invited to come use our sewing machines, supplies and space to work on their personal sewing projects. Bring your own fabric and patterns. Teachers help members as they have questions. This is a FREE Open Studio funded in part by a grant from the Ohio Arts Council.
