Follow a Project Based Curriculum
Service Description
This class is open to people of all ages and experience levels. You will work at your own pace on a variety of projects designed to help you learn basic sewing skills. Our teachers have designed a curriculum for you to follow, progressing through a variety of skills that can be used in many sewing projects. This curriculum covers using your sewing machine, different stitches, zippers, elastic, casings, buttons, drawstrings, following a pattern and more. Sewing Projects include: pillow, tote bag, drawstring bag, pillowcase, apron, skirt, pajama pants, zipper pouch, stuffed animal, poncho, and more. Come one time or every session, you work at your own pace. All supplies are included. Bring your own sewing machine or Rent One of our Machines for $10. Only 6 spots per session. Register in advance.
