Financial Giving

Your Gift Creates Comfort, Connection, and Opportunity

Your generosity helps Sew4Service provide textile-arts education, prepare charity sewing kits, organize volunteer service projects, and create handmade items for people and pets in need. Every gift—large or small—helps us strengthen our community while keeping useful materials out of landfills.

Sew4Service uses Zeffy so that 100% of your donation supports our mission.

Double Your Impact with an Employer Match

Many employers match charitable contributions made by employees—and some also match gifts from retirees or spouses.

A matching gift may double or even triple the impact of your donation to Sew4Service.

How to request a match:

  1. Ask your employer’s human resources department or search your employee giving portal.

  2. Look for Sew4Service using our organization name or tax identification number (87-2161163).

  3. Submit your donation receipt and any information requested by your employer.

  4. Let us know if your employer needs additional documentation from Sew4Service.

Create a Lasting Legacy

A planned gift is a meaningful way to support Sew4Service’s mission for future generations.

By including Sew4Service in your estate or financial plans, you can help preserve textile-arts skills, expand creative learning opportunities, support volunteer service, and provide handmade comfort to people and pets in need.

Possible ways to give:

  • Include Sew4Service in your will or living trust

  • Name Sew4Service as a beneficiary of a retirement account, life insurance policy, or financial account

  • Recommend a grant through a donor-advised fund

  • Discuss another planned-giving arrangement with your financial or legal adviser

If you have already included Sew4Service in your plans—or would like information to help you begin—we would be honored to hear from you.

Please contact Lucy Kulbago at lucy.kulbago@sew4service.org.

Sharing your intentions allows us to thank you and better understand how you hope your gift will support our mission.
