Intro to Pattern Reading

Service Description

This beginner-friendly class introduces how to read and use a sewing pattern for your first apparel project. It covers finding patterns, choosing the right size and materials, fabric layout and cutting, understanding pattern pieces and instructions, basic fitting, and common seam finishes and closures. Students can bring their own patterns to discuss, and the instructor will provide hands-on examples for a sample garment, though no finished garment will be made in class.
