Does anyone have a good system for organizing fabric scraps

Does anyone have a good system for organizing fabric scraps and pre-cut pieces during large-scale sewing projects for the Euclid Chapter? We’re looking for a way to keep different project components separated and visible on our workstations without creating a mess.

We use plastic bins which are low profile. We don't work on more than we can keep organized in the studio at any one time. Sofia where are you volunteering for us? I haven't seen you in Euclid.

Lodi Family Center

I’ve recently started collecting books for the Lodi Family Center in Lodi, Ohio. Is Sew4Service working with them this year? If so, I’d like to donate some scarves I’ve made — I can drop them off directly at the Center since they’re pretty close by.

Thank you!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the help and support during our recent Fill A Bag sale. We made a nice chunk of change to support our mission. All leftover items have or will have been removed by Tuesday Oct. 7th which is very helpful. We have a few large donations coming in soon and we now have room for them.

Let's show some love and support for Lakewood and Alliance chapters this week during their sales as well.

Euclid Chapter happenings

Hello to all our Euclid chapter volunteers and creators! We are so excited to have our first student volunteer join us for the 2025-26 school year. Emma is a senior and is in the Learn Lead Serve program at her high school. She will be with us 3 hours a week to learn all about our organization. Please offer her a smile and a friendly hello when you see her on a Thursday.

Gaming at a

is a popular hobby enjoyed by many people in their free time. It offers a fun way to relax, explore creative worlds, and challenge your skills. Different types of games, such as strategy, adventure, or sports games, allow players to find something that matches their interests. One thing I like about gaming is how it encourages problem-solving, quick thinking, and teamwork, especially in multiplayer games. It can also be a social activity where friends connect online and share exciting experiences together. However, it’s important to play in moderation and balance gaming with other activities like studying, working, or exercising. When enjoyed responsibly, gaming can be a rewarding hobby that brings entertainment, learning, and even new friendships. 🎮

August 1 Kindness Sewing Circle

Calling all volunteer Sewists! Anne Marie here with NPower Services and project: Kindness. Over the last several months we’ve had such a great time getting to meet you and helping our community. We have a fairly regular group of Neurodiverse adults that attend our monthly sewing circle. Some love to match fabrics and sort, some are happy to iron all the wrinkles out of fabric, some are getting pretty good at turning projects right side out, and we even have a few using sewing machines! Each one needs at least a little guidance, some need someone to walk them through each step every time, and some just need gentle guidance to stay on task and not wander around. They all need your companionship!

A couple month’s ago the group requested to make tote bags that they could give to family members as gifts. My heart melted at this request as…

Hobby games are such an enjoyable way to spend free time because they offer a break from daily stress while keeping the mind engaged. Whether it’s sports, video games, or board games, they create a sense of challenge and progress that feels rewarding. I mainly play for relaxation and social connection, but a little competition makes it exciting too. Improving skills over time adds motivation. Even things like searching for a
