In the News: Sew4Service Featured in FreshWater Cleveland’s Fiber Fest Article

We are excited to share that Sew4Service was featured in a recent FreshWater Cleveland article about the inaugural Fiber Fest at Cuyahoga County Public Library’s Warrensville Heights Innovation Center.

The article, written by Karin Connelly Rice, highlights the growing interest in fiber arts throughout the community and the exciting variety of hands-on demonstrations, workshops, and creative opportunities offered through Fiber Fest. The event brings together sewists, quilters, knitters, crocheters, embroiderers, fiber artists, and curious beginners for a full day of creativity and connection.

FreshWater Cleveland notes that Fiber Fest was developed with Sew4Service, a nonprofit community of service-minded makers who sew, quilt, crochet, and knit. The article also highlights the Warrensville Heights Innovation Center’s textile-focused makerspace, which includes tools and equipment for sewing, embroidery, quilting, apparel creation, and other fiber arts activities.
